I'm Nitra, the founder of Color Her Story LLC and the woman behind every book, every page, and every illustration you'll find here. I stand in my conviction that Black women deserve to see themselves in cozy, restful, beautiful spaces. Not as an afterthought, but as the whole point.
The Coloring Room exists because rest is not something you earn. It's something you're owed. And for Black women especially, having a space that's just yours...quiet, creative, and completely centered on you, matters more than most people realize.
Every book I create is intentionally designed, and made with you in mind. No AI. No shortcuts. Hand-illustrated by human hands. Art that sees you.

We're not just here to color pretty pages. We're here to remember. To say "I know that feeling" and "I grew up watching her too" and "yes, that's exactly what my Saturday mornings looked like."
